The dead body of a woman police constable living in Nuapada was found hanging from a tree near the Nuapada railway gate. Nuapada police recovered the body. According to information, a woman police officer Rukmini Nag (28) working in the Nuapada police department is said to have committed suicide by hanging on a tree near the Nuapada railway gate this evening. Nuapada police reached the spot after receiving the information, recovered the dead body and confiscated it and kept it in Nuapada district head hospital. The female police officer is married, why she committed suicide is under suspicion. The deceased police officer’s husband is also found to be working in the police department. A video message of a dead policewoman before her death is going viral on mobile. The wife of the deceased woman police officer has filed an FIR at the Nuapada police station. Case No. 191/2025, 16 July 2025, BNS Section, U/S 85,108, investigation is ongoing. It is believed that the mystery of the death will be revealed after the investigation.
