
On behalf of the Odiya family of the National University, a program called ‘Nabin Vur and Nuanukhai Vet’ has been organized for the new students. The program was organized under the chairmanship of Gopighat Suna, Head of the Odia Department, and the Chief Guest was the Chairman of the College, Hitesh Kumar Sahu, Lecturer of Khadial Autonomous University, Dr. Tarun Kumar Pradhan, Biju Patnaik, Professor of Higher Secondary School, Boden. Gayadhar Mohanty, teacher Baidyanath Gardtia, teacher Mamata Patnaik, Dr. Pramod Kumar Raut were present as the chief guest of honour. First, after Nabanna Vogpradayat and Pujacharana to Mother Manikeswari and Lord Jagannath, Mass Nabanna Food and Zohar Vet program was held. The event was organized in the traditional manner of Western Odisha and completely plastic free. Different types of traditional pies, mandas, laddus, khiri were served to the guests and the new devotees. Dressed in hand-woven clothes, cut leaves, seeds, spoons and different types of flowers and millet in bouquets, everyone was impressed. It is not only a section where the guests guide the students to be good human beings with respect to orthodox language and literature; Expressed that it is a cultured family. Students Dheeraj Chandrakar, Labanya Khurshel, Sushant Sunani coordinated the program. In the competition organized by the department on this occasion, Sublan Singh Majhi was awarded for painting, Poornami Shabar for flower arrangement, Pooja Sahu for traditional beshbhusa and Hulahuli. . Professor Shiv Prasad gave the welcome speech while Professor Asha Meher thanked everyone. The traditional song and dance program organized on this occasion kept the audience engaged for a long time. Sports teacher Prakash Kumar Sahu, teacher Kapildev Manigarahi, Geetha Seth, Shukdev Bhil, Baikunth Behera, Elohim Patel, Himachal Naik, Mary Asha Toppo, Ticchan Nial Magar were present in the program.
