Malkangiri 26/12 An awareness program has been conducted by the district forest department for social awareness to combat plastic pollution in the tourist area and forest banquet area. Today, under the leadership of District Forester Ravi Narayan Khadwal, the “Plastic Free Campaign” awareness rally and Clean India Cleanup Campaign was launched at Kamarguda Park and Madimetla Picnic Spot, which aims to address the serious environmental damage caused by non-biodegradable garbage. Collaborative volunteer institute workers point out that plastic can remain in the environment for hundreds of years, harming wildlife and polluting our water and soil. Change, conscious people were alerted to use reusable cloth bags or reusable water bottles instead of using plastic bags.
