
Malgiya: A workshop on Maternal and Child Health has been held by IGD NGO Prakhya in collaboration with ITC Mission Sunharakal in Malkangari District Malgiya block conference room. In this program, the initiatives taken by this organization to improve maternal and child health in various panchayats of tribal areas and Kalimela block were discussed. In addition, the current state of health has been discussed in order to improve the health indicators. Maliya Group Development Officer Ashwini Kumar Mohapatra attended the program as the chief guest while Maliya Health Officer Dr. Balaram Patal, Maliya Regional Higher Secondary School Chairman Dr. Parmanand Mohapatra, ITC Mission Sunharakal Program Officer Vanam Geetha Pravallika were also present. On this occasion, it has been said that it is absolutely necessary to be aware at the individual level to improve maternal and child health. Also, every woman asked to take care of her personal hygiene, health and be included in government schemes. The program was conducted by the state head of IGD NGO, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sahu, and Amit Kumar Namdas, program manager of Maliya Block, Odisha Livelihood Mission, was present among others. Jhilli Seal, Nayami Khara and Gobind Sardar of IGD NGO were instrumental in organizing the programme.
