Kirmira 11.12 (Fast News Odisha) Kirmira Block Bagdihi Range Gaudpanpali Panchayat Thathamal Forest Hira Buda (60) years old of Thathamal village was killed in an elephant attack. According to the information of Bagdihi Forester Murali Prasad Sahu, he came out of his house at 11 o’clock on Tuesday with an ax and did not come home until evening and searched for him and called the Forest Department and the police. So on Wednesday morning, the villagers and the forest staff went into the forest to search and found the victim in an injured state. The Bagdihi Fandi officer went to the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. Forester Sahu said that there is still a tusk elephant in the Tatmal forest and informed the public to be alert.
