Baripada, 9.2: Earlier, good people were being created with quality education in Chala Chapar’s clay wall educational institute. Now, great men are being created in concrete houses. It is rare to see good people being created at the spiritual level. The 96th founding ceremony of Odisha’s First Full Moon Vocational Education and Training Institute, established by Maharaja Pratapchandra Bhanj in 1931, was celebrated on Monday under the chairmanship of Haribhakti Mahanth, chairman of the institute. Upazilapal Dr. Melisindhu Parida joined as the chief guest and spoke about vocational education and self-reliance without chasing jobs. As the keynote speaker, the former chairman of the institute, Punchandra Bugodei, used to say that whoever does small things as big, he becomes a king from the ranks. Sandeep Kumar Chand, the former chairman of Gadiya College as the guest of honor, gave a hopeful comment for the district, while the former chairman and chairman of Taktpur TTI, Mr. Kandan Majhi, joined him and said that vocational education is beneficial. At the end of the meeting, Chairman Lordab Raut gave vote of thanks. The successful contestants of the annual sports competition were felicitated by the guests.
