In the said review meeting, Rajni Kant Biswal along with District Collector Mr. Additional District Collector Mr. Netranand Mallik, Additional District Collector Mr. Elohim Chandra Naik participated prominently. In the said meeting, he mainly reviewed the construction work of the under-construction road under NHAI in the district and its maintenance, as well as the progress of various projects implemented under Purth, Rural Development, ITDA and discussed with the officials about the roadmap and work schedule of the proposed public welfare projects in the future. During the review, people asked the reasons for the slow pace of road construction, especially as people were facing untold problems for transit. Thoroughly discussed with the department officials how to resolve the delays and obstacles in the completion of the under construction projects. He also reviewed how the construction of the project could be expedited and completed smoothly within the stipulated period in coordination with various departments. Due to the heavy rains, the current condition of the roads, traffic problems have become a major problem for the people. Therefore, the departmental officer has directed Manang to complete the construction of severely damaged roads on priority basis before Durga Puja. Apart from this, the construction work should be of good quality. Stating that there will be no arbitration, the Minister has directed the departmental officials to blacklist those developers who are neglecting to complete the construction work within the stipulated period. In today’s review meeting, various district level officials, sub-district level officials, various line department officials and senior BJP leader Candra Soren were present and took part in the discussion.
