Under the chairmanship of Nuapada District Collector Madhusudan Das, the monthly review meeting of Social Security Department was held in the conference room of the headquarters with the officers of various departments. In the said meeting, all the plans of the Social Security Department were discussed in detail. The Disability Empowerment Camp of the department to be held in the district in the coming days was discussed in detail. It was decided not to use plastic in the ceremony in any block. From the review, it was revealed that while there are 61523 target beneficiaries in the district, 63362 people have been included in the Madhubabu Pension Scheme. In the NFBS scheme, a total of Rs. 5 lakhs has been given to 25 beneficiaries of the scheme. 105 women self-help groups will be supported under the authority. 16 groups have been given a revolving fund of 50,000 rupees each. In the recognition scheme, 104 transgenders have been identified in the district, 67 have been given certificates and 35 have been given allowances. District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dhaneshwar Sethi, Lead Bank Manager and all the officers and employees working in this department of various blocks were present in the meeting held at the reception.
