Baripada 15/12 (Fast News Odisha) Today, a hunter of Besarpani village under Baripada Sadar police station, in the presence of his local ward member, Ditari Bhakta, handed over his hand-made gun to the range officer of Pietabata South Wild Life Ranger in the gun surrender campaign organized in his village. The man has vowed to give up hunting forever and return to the mainstream to protect wildlife and the environment. About 55 villagers and Pietabatta South Wildlife Range staff were present in this campaign. Shimilipal South Wildlife Deputy Director Samrat Gowda informed that such work of a hunter has been appreciated by the department and the public.
