
Baripada on 19/1 (Fast News Odisha) A district-wide art exhibition has been held in the local kindergarten under the auspices of Shri Jagannath Art Academy and Baripada Municipality. In the exhibition, more than 350 children, divided into four groups from nursery to class 10, participated in the drawing competition. This year’s theme was various tourist spots and famous temples of Mayurbhanj district in the competition which was held from 10 am to 12 pm in the kindergarten. Around 50 contestants were awarded with trophies and medals. Baripada Mayor Krishnananda Mohanty as chief guest, Dean of Divine Diploma College Ranjit Kumar Sahu as chief guest, Bhanjsena founder Klingkeshari Jena as guest of honor and Rabin Kumar Mohapatra, principal of Creative School of Arts and Crafts, Shri Jagannath Art Academy principal Shudashmiti Bharti Hota and trustee Rakesh Kumar Behera were the chief guests. He said that art helps in increasing the creative power of children. Art teachers Chiranjeev Sahu, Prakashini Sahu, Mamuni Dhal, Dance Guru Tapan Kumar Behera, Sujith Kumar Dhal, Saira Pradhan, Yoga Guru Chandan Mishra and Director Harendra Mahant were felicitated on the occasion. Trustees Subas Chandra Raut, Ankur Khurana, Shalvi Mohan Padhi, Dekshisha Naik, Sukul Soren and NSS volunteers assisted in conducting the programme.
