Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Chief Development Officer of the District Council and Chairman of the Souvenir Committee attended the meeting as the chief guest and lit the lamp with garlands on the statue of Lord Jagannath! Mancha Singh was honored as the guest of honor by the Vice Chairman of the Souvenir Committee, Sankara Tripathi, Nabarangpur College Chairman D Gobind Rao, District Suchana and Public Relations Officer Manoj Behera, Writer Prabhasini Mohanty, College Professor Music Tripathi. The Vice President of the Souvenir Committee, Anushka Tripathi, gave a welcome speech and presented her essay on “Niskal’s Politician Freedom Fighter, Jamshib Tripathi”! Lecturer and Vice President Nabarangpur University Musicha Tripathi coordinated the stage, while writer Prabhasini Mohanty reviewed the essays! Retired Dr. Vijaya Kumar Mishra on “Literature Bhagirathi”, Writer Jemamani Bisoy on “Tribal Folk Songs”, Ballab Narayan Raut on “First Martyr Baga Pujari of Maa Mati”, “Mandei Past, Present”, Dupurna Chandra Mohapatra on “Government’s Approach to People Below Poverty Line”, CDO District Council Biranchi Narayan Darwan on “Nabarangpur” Ram Prasad Pot on Acting Sri-Sri Ram Panda, Educator Vijay Kumar Chowdhury on My Nabarangpur of Half a Century, Narayan Panda on Nabarangpur Ancient History Temple Malini, Kedareshwar Patnaik on Maa Pendrani, Goddess of Sacrifice and Sacrifice and finally Hemalta Majhi read their essays!
