Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 08.12.2025 Rikh: On the occasion of the popular Mandei festival in Nabarangpur district, a mehendi competition has been organized in the campus of Women’s Degree College! The competition was conducted beautifully under the supervision of the college chairperson and faculty member Dr. Anita Panda! Organized in collaboration with the District Culture Office and the District Information and Public Relations Office, Dr. Anita Panda, Ms. Tarannum Ara and Ms. Sunita Parjo participated as judges in this program! About 50 contestants, including students and local women, participated in it! At the end of the program, the District Information and Public Relations Officer joined as the chief guest and encouraged the contestants and advised on the importance of Mehendi in our culture and tradition! In the competition, Snigdha Parjo won the first place, Manjula Bhatra won the second place and N. Sonia and Charchika Rajput won the third place together! All participants will be awarded participation certificates while these 3 winners will be promoted on the main market stage!
