Raikia Date:-09/03/2026- In Petapanga Panchayat under Raikia block of Kandhamal District, AWO international germany Madhyam Foundation has been doing various improvement works in 8 villages since 2023. Today, International Women’s Day is celebrated with great pomp. The chief guest Sarpanch Mrs. Pushpanjali Mallik inaugurated the day by lighting the lamp. How women can be self-reliant, empowered and gave a speech on various developmental schemes of the government. Similarly, the Principal of Petapanga School Mrs. Pratibha Pratibha praised the work of Madhyam Foundation and gave a speech that she will provide equal education to her sons and daughters without gender discrimination. OLM of Petapanga Panchayat, and MBK Didi Swapnarani Pradhan Odisha Jika Mission for women explained about how the women of Petapanga group can grow financially through the women’s loan scheme, food processing team.
