The district education office organized the district level PM Mr. Festival – Malkangiri district on 22.01.2026 and 23.01.2026 on Thursday at 12:05 pm. has been inaugurated in District Governor Mr. Somesh Upadhyay presided over the event in the presence of District Education Officer Mr. Chittaranj Manigarahi. The chief guests were the Minister of Public Education, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare, Social Security and Empowerment of the Disabled Mr. Nityanand Gand, Malakangiri MLA Mr. Narsingh Madkami, Chittarakonda MLA Mr. Mangu Khil, Distt. Mars Officer Mr. Srinivas Aari, Balimela Proclamation Council Chairman Mr. Pradeep Kumar Naik, Parliamentarian Sanjay Kumar Sarkar, Additional District Education Officer Ms. Manjulata Bhoi and Additional District Education Officer Mr. Bhagirathi Behera were on the main stage. The entire Education Malakangiri Calendar-2026 was auspiciously inaugurated with the appointment letter issued to five employees under the rehabilitation scheme by the Hon’ble Minister and the launch of the journal. Minister Shri Gond expressed that if there is will power, even the impossible can be possible and hard work is essential for success in life. The children’s door was inaugurated with the exhibition, Pimshree School Wall Magazine and Knowledge Wall unveiled by Hon’ble Minister Mr. Gond. Akankshi Mela Inspire Odisha @2036 Stall, Pimshree Aspirational Student Council Stall, Shop Trip Pimsree Business Summit Stall, Akankshi Student Council Talent Gallery, Vocational Stall, various creative essays, stories and cartoons prepared by Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Schools featured prominently. Which will help in the intellectual, mental and material development of the students. Students demonstrated their ability to master a 20th century life skill. The program was conducted by Teacher Debraj Sethi and the Group Education Officer Malkangari Mrs. Mamata Say, Group Education Officer Ramesh Baroi, Group Education Officer Mathil Sumeet Biwan, Group Education Officer Korkanda Gayatri Devi, Science Inspector Jagannath Behera, Sandeep Dash, Jagdish Sethi, Anant Behera, Danbandhu Bej, Sanatan Pradhan, Manoj Mahapatra, Jitu Ranjan for its successful implementation.
