Baripada – 15/09/2025 The new administrative building of Mayurbhanj Athletic Association has been inaugurated in the premises of Rikh Baripada Stadium. Hon’ble Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the grand opening of this building as the chief guest. In this program, Odisha Government’s Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krishnachandra Mahapatra, School and Public Education Minister Nityananda Gand, Rajya Sabha MP Mamata Mahanth, Lok Sabha were present. MP Nava Charan Majhi, Baripada MLA Prakash Soren, Ladasahi MLA Sanatan Ekita, Bangiriposhi MLA Sanjali Murmu, Udala MLA Vaskar Madhei, Karanjia MLA Padmacharan Haibru, Rairangpur MLA Jalen Naik were present.I Baripada Stadium has three storied club house with swimming pool, indoor boxing, wrestling practice hall, two General Secretary Vijay Kumar Das presented a project of around Rs.84 crores to the Hon’ble Minister on the need for pavilions etc. The Hon’ble Minister promised that it would be immediately considered and implemented.Association Vice Presidents Vivekananda Patnaik and Manoj Kumar Sao, Treasurer Amitabh Das, Co-Editors Baidyanath Rath, Gaurishkan Sinha, Ashok Patnaik, Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, Ambika Raut, Prasanajit Mohanty, Harprasad Pan, FAO Vice President Asit Bhurpati, AVA Vice President Manranjan Jee and hundreds of members were present. Kumar Ranjan Panda conducted the meeting.
