Baripada 22-10-2025 Rikh Mayurbhanj district level development coordination and supervision (disha) committee’s ninth meeting was held today at 03:00 in the district council conference room under the chairmanship of Hon’ble MP, Lok Sabha, Urmaybhanj and chairman of district disha committee Mr. Nab Charan Majhi. In the said meeting Hon’ble MP, all MLAs, District Council Chairperson Mrs. Bharti Hasda, District Governor Mr. Hem Kant Say, and all departmental officers of the district. For the successful implementation of various development and public welfare programs, all the people’s representatives of the District Disha Committee and officials of the relevant government line departments were present and emphasized the need to take an active part in the discussion. He directed the departmental officials to speed up the development projects in the district and complete them within the stipulated time. Most of the departments are not able to work properly or they are not working at a slow pace, so that the common people are deprived of their basic rights. In the Bhakti House, the officials could not answer the questions of the MLAs. As a result, all the MLAs of Mayurbhanj warned the officials to work properly and provide basic rights to the people. In the above meeting, the Chief Development Officer of the District Council and According to the agenda presented by the executive officer, firstly, in the discussion of the previous committee meeting, a detailed review of the action taken by the officials of the relevant departments on the various objections raised by the MPs/members and other public representatives was discussed and a decision was taken to strengthen the details. District level officers of various departments, officers of various line departments and other public representatives and members of Disha Committee, workers of voluntary institutions and social workers participated in the meeting and took an active part in the discussion.
