Baripada-Th:- 12/11/2025 State-level Children’s Drama Festival organized at Gandhi Smriti Bhawan by Rich Balasore’s leading theater artist Anukul. In this festival, the students of Purnchandrapur Government Higher Primary School, Baripadar, staged the play “Kandatha Banani” and received high praise. Lama, Devasmita Savat was awarded as the second best supporting actress and Karthik Mahant was also awarded as the third best actor I The play written by Ajit Manigarahi and directed by Trilochan Sahu starred Brajkishore Mahant, Krishna Dutt, Dekshisha Chowdhury, Samvit Pan, Akash Kumar Mahanth and Priyari Behera among others. In the valedictory meeting presided over by School Principal Saumya Das, the guests were Satyanand Shejpada, Playwright Ajit Manigarahi, Director Trilochan Sahu, Senior Teacher Somnath Singh, Teacher Sagarika Pan, Panditha Palbabu, Mamata Das, Gargi Shetpathi, Urmila Dutt, Madhumita Mohantau, Sumitra Raut, Art Teacher Maheshwar Marndi Magar.
