Baripada – 22/03/2026 – Future Star Sports Academy women’s team gave an impressive performance in the State Inter-District Senior Rugby 7S Competition held at Dharnidhar Sports Complex, Keonjhar on 16th and 17th of this month. Academy made history by defeating the team by 12-10 points. Earlier, the team defeated Baltimore by 52-00, Kendrapada by 59-00, Jagatsinghpur by 45-00 and in the semi-final, Mayurbhanj by 26-00 and maintained its dominance. Along with this, the men’s team of the academy also won the praise of everyone by fighting bravely in the quarter finals. On this occasion, Future Star Sports Academy has given special thanks to the President, Editor and all the staff of Mayurbhan District Rugby Football Association. Thanks to the association’s encouragement and support, the academy got the opportunity to play on the state stage for the first time under its own name.
