Baripada – 11/11/2025 The State Schools Rugby Championship has been organized under the auspices of Odisha Government’s School and Public Education Department and Odisha State School Sports Association. Under 14 year old boy division of Mayurbhanj district was the champion in this championship held at Government High School, IRC Village, Bhubaneswar. Bishnupada Mahant was involved. The son of father Samanath Kashinath Mahant and mother Binimani Mahant of Banashada village under Sarasakna block faced a lot of difficulty in studying after his father’s death. The founder of Star Sports Academy contacted Divranjan Dasnk and arranged the training. Now studying in 8th standard, he got the privilege of playing in the champion Mayurbhanj team and brought glory to the school and the district.
