Baripada 17/10 (PNS) Under the Land Resources Department of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, 152 towns have been included in the first phase of the pilot project under the Digital India Land Registration System. A training camp has been held at the municipal council hall for the councilors of Baripada Municipality under the chairmanship of Mr. In the camp, city councilor Krishnananda Mohanty, town councilor Jem Das, Baripada upazila councilor Dr. Mercysindhu Parida, Baripada Tehsildar Sapan Kumar Sahu, Shamakhunta Tehsildar Saheb Ram Baske, Municipal Executive Officer Devi Prasad Raut Major participated in this project through which e-data will be prepared which will be available to each line department along with the revenue department so that all the work related to public land acquisition can be done smoothly in the respective offices in the future. Said. In this scheme, 28 wards of Baripada municipality, 34 villages under Baripada tehsil and 2 villages of Shamakhunta tehsil have been included in this plan. Two master trainers have been trained for its proper implementation. It will be publicized and created awareness in these villages for the cooperation of the people. For the proper management of this scheme, 14 teams have been formed under the chairmanship of District Collector, Municipal Executive Officer, Shamakhunta Tahsildar, Revenue Inspector, Tax Collector and Outsourcing person. A meeting will be held in each ward and declaration letters will be collected from the citizens through Form-2. According to the map of the Board of Revenue, the data obtained from the aerial survey will be matched. Tehsildar Sapan Kumar Sahu gave a detailed presentation about the program through PPT at the camp. Soon, the field survey teams will go door to door under the supervision of the respective councilors in each ward and collect declarations containing information from the people in Form-2. While giving information in declaration form-2, people will fill and sign two copies, keep one copy with themselves and give one copy to the survey team. Mep-2 will be issued after verification. If anyone has any complaints, they can submit a complaint letter. It is reported that the final new lease will be given after consideration of the complaint letter. All ward councilors of the municipality, members of the survey team were present in the camp and participated in the discussion.
