Leekera, 28/10 (Fast News Odisha): A cyber crime new criminal law awareness program has been organized by the police station of Leekera under the leadership of police officer Dilip Behera at the Panchayat Samiti Degree College. A huge rally with hundreds of students took out from the college premises and went up to Lykera bus stand and ended at the college. Madhusmita Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police, Jharsuguda attended the program organized in the college premises as the chief guest and gave her speech on the current criminal activities. DSP Jyosnamayi Pradhan, Banita Majhi, Inspector Bandana Naik, Shiv Ranvida, Sub Inspector Lashmi Priya Mallick, London Police Force, Kamal Lochan Das, Chairman of U-2 College, Pramod Singh, Professor of Panchayat Samiti Degree College, Bhupal Chandra Behera joined as one of the guests and gave their own speech. Mr. Behera informed the audience about the current cybercrime, digital arrest, online games, online loans, online gambling, Sata, superstition, adultery, child marriage, anti-drugs, violence against women, Indian Judicial Code, Indian Witness Act, Indian Civil Protection Code and the new laws in the society. Professor Rudraksha presided over the meeting. Such awareness program will continue in every Panchayat, said Mr. Behera. All the policemen of Lakera police station, along with the officers of Bharajpur and Bagdihi, cooperated with the journalists Bharat Pan, Devendra Behera, Ranjan Meher. Similarly, in the evening, hundreds of people were made aware of cyber crime through Das Khadiya at Lykera Opera Grounds.
