Bhubaneswar: After teachers and students, now the officers and staff in the education department. Further, the officials in the education department cannot stay in one place for more than 3 years. All officers who have been sitting on the throne for more than 3 years will be transferred to another place. The school and public education department has decided on this. This year, 50 percent of officers and employees will change. The remaining non-teachers will be replaced next year. Similarly, no officer can work in his own district or block. The letter mentions that the officers who have two years remaining in their tenure cannot be replaced. It has been said from the department that on the 20th of August last, a guideline was issued by the Public Administration Department regarding the change of officers. Changes will be made as per the instructions contained therein. However, it seems that the change will be done with the permission of the higher officials.
