Malkangiri 13.02.2026 Shri Arvind High School M. V. – In 55 there have been complaints of irregularity of lunch rice and money. After coming to know about the complaint, District Magistrate Somesh Kumar Upadhyay directed the district education officer to investigate the matter immediately. The Additional District Education Officer under the supervision of the District Education Officer visited the school and inspected the stock register of midday meal rice. After checking the stock register and other documents, it was found that about 42 sacks of midday rice were sent to a mill for reprocessing. But the midday rice which is specially fortified by the District Supply Officer (fortified rice) does not require further processing. The Principal has been implicated in the midday rice irregularity and a show cause notice has been issued to the Principal for the said irregularity. According to the reply to the notice, departmental action will be taken against him.
