
Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Nayak) Date: 24.01.2026 Rikh: In the premises of the local B. D. College, the voluntary training of the master of addiction has been implemented! On the 16th, a huge rally started from Tentilikhunti and passed through Nabarangpur city to create a drug-free society. People were alerted and reached BD College! By the Art of Living Foundation of Shree Vishwavidyalaya, 40 young women from around the district were given various trainings as Master Volunteers to build a drug-free society! In this, Bholanath from Sri Vishwavidyalaya arrived in the form of Zena Master and trained for a week! The master volunteers who have learned in this test will inform the villages, educational institutions, panchayats, self-help groups and urban areas about the physical and mental harm caused by addiction and explain how to stop it! The training was held in collaboration with the District Social Security and Disability Empowerment Department and started from last January 16 and lasted until January 22, 26! Additional District Collector Tapan Khuntia, District Chief Medical Officer Mallya Pradhan, District Social Security Officer Sudshanshu Pancha gave certificates to the instructors on the inauguration day. The Additional District Magistrate expressed his displeasure as young people are slowly falling into the grip of addiction and asked him to work with sincerity towards its solution! Social Security Officer said that the police administration should try to put a stop to the drug trade in the district! All the participants recited the oath! Asha Kiran Chairman Jagannath Behera and Biswajit Mohanty were present and helped the training progress!
