Malkangari, 10/3/26: In Malkangari district, the launch of Kettana Abhiyan 2.0 has been held with enthusiasm, joy and massive public participation. The main goal of this campaign is to reach the grass root level of the government’s public welfare scheme to the last person, to ensure 100 percent fulfillment in the areas of health, nutrition, cleanliness, education, animal resources and social welfare. In this context, a launch ceremony was held in the local district council conference room under the chairmanship of District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay for the successful completion of the campaign 2.0 in the district. District Council Chairperson Samari Tangulu, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, Deputy District Magistrate Duryodhan Bhoi, MP Representative Sanjay Sarkar, Malkangi MLA Representative Nihar Roy attended the meeting as chief guests. Inaugurating the campaign, District Collector Shri Upadhyay directed for 100% completion of health, nutrition, agriculture and education indicators in the aspirant blocks. The district governor directed to ensure proper sanitation for pregnant mothers, anganwadi centers and proper toilets for girls in schools. The rural economy depends on domesticated animals. Hence it is said to ensure the vaccination of domestic animals. The District Governor called upon everyone to take inspiration to lead the district towards a healthy, strong and prosperous community and make our district a developed district. Today at 9 o’clock in the morning, an awareness procession started from the office of District Collector, students of various colleges, district officers, workers of Piramal Institute, organists and an awareness procession was held to the district council. Additional District Magistrate Rajsab Vedbar inaugurated the procession by hoisting the flag. Chief Development Officer Mr. Sarabu delivered the welcome speech and said that active cooperation, responsibility and positive attitude of all is needed to make the district a developed district and more responsibility of the staff especially at the block level. On this occasion, the Oath Recitation and Signature Campaign Program of Integrity Campaign 2.0 was organized. All the officers, public representatives and participants expressed their strong opinion towards the campaign. Stalls were set up by the Department of Health, Education and Social Welfare at the program venue. The guests inaugurated these stalls and informed the general public about the services available. The entire program was successfully completed with the support of District Planning and Coordination and District Council Office. The program was conducted by District Information and Public Relations Officer Pramila Majhi. The employees of various departments of three aspirant blocks Chittagong, Mathil and Khairput were promoted today for their performance. There is hope among the general public that the whole campaign will achieve a milestone in the social and economic development of the district.
