At the beginning of the meeting, District Emergency Branch Officer Pramithi Ranjan Sahu welcomed everyone to the meeting by highlighting the principles and principles of the meeting. Apart from this, he directed the CDMO to take adequate quantity of medicines and other related measures in every health center and hospital of the district to deal with the possible summer heat stroke. He directed to take special arrangements for the treatment of stroke patients in health centers and hospitals and to ensure the preparation of special rooms for stroke treatment. The district emergency branch has directed to run a control room (24 intu 7) for the public for immediate action and information regarding casualties. It has also been directed to take steps as soon as possible to open control rooms in each block, tehsil and other concerned offices of the district. Various urgent issues were discussed in the meeting to deal with the possible summer flood situation. To activate tube wells and other water sources immediately in the district, to take measures related to drinking water supply and sanitation problems, to investigate and provide reports on accidental deaths as soon as possible, to provide drinking water through tankers in waterlogged areas, to municipal councils, NACs, blocks, panchayats in important congested areas, to open water shelters in bus stands, etc. The meeting discussed the relationship. The District Magistrate directed the departmental officers to keep sufficient quantity of drinking water and ORS packets in the passenger buses and other passenger vehicles and take necessary steps to continue the timetable. Apart from this, the departmental officials have been instructed to keep sufficient drinking water, ORS packets in the workplaces where the workers are working and to continue the work schedule. BDI and District Veterinary Officers have been instructed to provide drinking water and medicines for cattle, cows, etc. in summer, while district officials of Bankhand have been advised to make special arrangements for the protection of wild animals and wildlife. In the meeting, there was a discussion on creating awareness among the public regarding dealing with summer heat stress and flood prevention. In the meeting, executive officers and district level officers presented the measures to be taken by their departments to deal with the situation of summer floods.
