Kalahandi: Makund Naik: 4/02 – (Fast News Odisha) :- Annual celebration 2026 ‘Udan’ has been organized under the direct supervision of the headmaster of Biulapatna Government Higher Secondary School under Rampur block of Kalahandi district, Laxmidhar Naik. Additional District Education Officer Tapimani Jani as the chief guest, Baidyanath Padhi, principal of Indiravati Degree College as the chief speaker, while Ramesh Chandra Majhi, State Working Member and MLA Candidate, Block President Meli Nidhi Majhi, Ex-Block Vice President Sahaliva Naik, Bishnu Naik, BJP Lanjigarh Constituency In-Charge, Samaj Sevi Sujan Kumar Naik, Suntha Naik, Ex-Chairman, were present as special guests. Kaniguma Village Panchayat Savya Upendra Naik, Local Sarpanch Ratni Majhi, Mandal General Secretary of Dumer Padar Chandan Naik, Mandal Editor of Dumer Padar Babula Prasad Majhi, Youth Leader Tarun Naik, Mahendra Naik Padar Sarpanch, School Management Committee President Somnath Naik, Parent Rukta Majhi, Major were felicitated. In the presence of the guests, the stage was inaugurated after lighting the lamp and worshiping Ganesh’s photograph, while Principal Laxmidhar Naik read out the annual report of the school and conducted the stage. Earlier, the students who participated in various sports competitions in the school were awarded certificates and trophies by the guests. On this occasion, in the afternoon, traditional Odissi dance and tribal dance were performed by the students in the cultural program on the stage. The program was organized by school teachers Prasathi Kumar Pan, Pradeep Pat Majhi, Vinant Majhi, Nitesh Thakur, Gauri Naik, Kavita Majhi and Madham Chhatriya, teachers Pustam Baniya, Ranjan Kumar Naik, Madan Hans and other staff members of the school including teachers Reena Sahu, Seenharani Dhangada Majhi and Samsarani Naik fully supported the program.
