Koraput, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 27.08.2025 Rikh: On the occasion of Koraput agricultural festival, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has launched the ‘CM Kisan’ aid system! In the period of 2025-26 Rabi, more than 51 lakh farmers have benefited from this aid in the state, while more than 1 lakh farmers in Koraput district have benefited! In Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has launched the distribution of aid amount through DBT! Koraput MLA Raghuram Fish joined as the chief guest in the ceremony organized by Koraput District Governor Manoj Satyaban Mahajan at the local Sadhavna Assembly Hall! 133717 farmers of Koraput district have been given 26 crores 74 lakhs 14 thousand rupees! Chief District Agriculture Officer Gokul Chandra Pradhan attended and conducted! CM Kisan assistance amount has been provided through DBT to urban farmers including small and nomadic farmers, landless farmer families and specially Scheduled Tribes! This is a revolutionary step of the state government! Farmers will get a total of 4 thousand rupees in two installments a year! Landless farmer families will be paid 12 thousand 500 rupees in 3 installments! Officers and employees of the Koraput Department of Agriculture participated in the management!
