On this occasion, in a press conference held today at the local district council meeting house, the District Governor Maheshwar informed about the organization of Subhadra Shakti Mela, various programs and related arrangements! According to information, there will be 120 stalls in this fair in which women self-help groups from the district and outside the district will display and sell their products! Self-help groups and other stalls are expected to generate a business of around 5 crore rupees! Honorable Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj along with Honorable Minister of School and Public Education Department, Honorable MP, MLA will attend the opening ceremony as guests! From 26/2/2026 to 3/3/2026 at 11:00 a.m. every day, a special conference will be held on women’s empowerment, women entrepreneurs, Lakpati Didi, women’s role in health and hygiene, gender equality, women’s legal rights! Every evening from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, a total of 28 cultural groups of the district will participate in the cultural performance of various famous artists from Sambalpur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Sonepur districts. Tomorrow, 25th, at 3.00 pm, Kalas Yatra will be held from Ma Bhandargharani’s temple to Police Ground with various cultural groups!
