
Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Panagi Parida attended the second evening of the district level Subhadra Shakti Mela on behalf of Odisha Government’s Mission Shakti Mela at Yatra Padha in Baliguda, Kandhamal District. The products produced by the women self-help groups here are in demand in the global market. Here, pepper, strawberry, mustard and other organic crops are well known. The Deputy Chief Minister said, “I am hopeful that the women here will become millionaires.” Director of District Mission Shakti and Kandhamal District Collector Ved Bhushan presided over the meeting while Phulwani MLA Uma Charan Mallik, G Udaygiri MLA Praful Chandra joined as chief guests and first lit the lamp to Nath Jagannath to the audience and women entrepreneurs.
