new cloth The stall of the District Legal Service Authority has been inaugurated in the Subhadra Shakti Mela-2026 organized at the National College campus in Silda. District Legal Service Authority Secretary Nabanita Dash, District Attorney’s Association Secretary Parilal Dewangan, Chief Legal Service Counsel Advocate Prakash Kathapana, Deputy Legal Services Counsel Advocate Anup Sharma, Adhiyak Shankar Suna, Jayakumar Nishad, Loknath Bagh, Kunj Bihari Bagh, Ajay Sharma and law friends took prominent part in the inauguration ceremony. On this occasion, Secretary Navnita Das said that the main objective of this stall was to bring the working style of District Legal Services Authority, free legal services, alternative dispute resolution process, Permanent People’s Courts and Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 and the availability of District Legal Services Authority to the public. He also appealed to the public to come to the stall of the District Legal Services Authority and seek free legal aid and advice. Various availability of District Law Service is displayed in this stall through pictures. Similarly, Principal Judicial Magistrate Parmita Mohapatra, Women Court Judge Sarojini Sahu, Registrar Saubhagya Ranjan Pradhan, SDJM Graduate Das Magar were present at the stall on the opening day of the fair. A short play based on the prevention of child marriage ‘Education Agae, Bihachar’ was presented in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority and the District Attorney’s Association, Nuapada. Advocates, District Court staff and officials of the authority participated in the said play, which was organized by District Bar Association President Kshitish Bodankar.
