Baripada – 24/12/2025 Mayurbhanjar Lakshmi Bhagat has been included in the Odisha team for the national under-15 BCCI trophy to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra. She has been included in the Odisha team and has brought fame to the district and Baripada by showing high quality in the Anti-District Cricket Tournament. Lakshmi, daughter of Bishnu Bhagat and Suman Bhagat of Prafullanagar, is a 7th grade student of Sacred Sunshine School, Meulia. Seeing her desire to play cricket, her father sent her to a cricket coaching camp under the Late Cut Club for training. Dibylochan Das has also contributed various forms of help for his game. For the first time he has been included in the Odisha team from Mayurbhanj district, he has set an example for others, said coach Mr. Mohanty.
