Jharsuguda, 7.3 (Fast News Odisha): Jharsuguda police have managed to catch an anti-state thief gang through ‘Operation Netra’. The police have arrested 4 accused in a theft incident that happened in Ladmal police station area. 87,000 rupees of stolen cash has been seized from them. According to information, a theft case (Case No-86) was registered in Ladmal police station on the last 5 days. Police formed a special team to investigate the incident and launched ‘Operation Netra’. Scientific evidence was collected from the scene and CCTV footage of the surrounding area was examined. The police arrested the accused on the basis of forensic information and intelligence information. The arrested accused are Sabdar Ali (25) of Girdih, Jharkhand; Muhammad Saddam alias Solu (21) of Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh; Tarun Sumuthar (20) of Old Basti, Jharsuguda; And Sheba Sahu (22) is from Khurda district and currently residing in Malimunda, Jharsuguda. The arrested accused have been arraigned today. In addition, the public has been requested by the police to immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
