Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 18.09.2025 Rikh: The players of Nabarangpur district have achieved significant success in the 69th State School Games Taekwondo competition held in Keonjhar from 10 to 12 September 2025! The team has won two medals! On the first day Pooja Banjara, a student of Uttara Girls’ Ashram, Majhiguda, won the gold medal! He is studying in Jabaguda school! On the second day, Akash Panda, a student of Uttarakhand Boys School, Sindiguda, won the silver medal! Other players in the team – Himanshu Patnaik, Shivshankar Kalar, Bapi Nivas, Shubham Puri, Sagar Bhatra, Dimple Pan, Sana Munda, Priya Katchim and Archana Marvi – participated! The team was coached by coach Harish Behera, who trains the children of the Uttarakhand Boys and Girls Ashram in various sports including Taekwondo, Penchak Silat, Boxing! On this occasion, District Governor Dr. Maheshwar Chandra Swayum, District Education Officer Mr. Chhatrapati Sahu, District Child Protection Officer Mr. Suresh Patnaik and the staff and all officials of the ashram have blessed and wished the players!
