Nuapada: The search campaign for Nuapada by the unemployment department is going on in full swing. On the 21st, the departmental officers checked and seized 229 liters of hand-cooked liquor, 18 liters of imported liquor, 5.4 liters of foreign liquor, 6 liters of beer and 7300 kg of meeul poach. The estimated cost of all these will be 4 lakh 62 thousand rupees. So far, the Department of Immigration has seized 69 liters of beer, 38 liters of foreign liquor, 36 300 liters of hand-cooked liquor, 588 liters of foreign liquor, 4 kg of marijuana and 85,600 kg of meeul pooch. The estimated cost of all this will be 54 lakh 49 thousand rupees. Apart from this, four bikes have also been seized by the unemployment department. The District Magistrate has directed all the teams deployed to completely stop the movement and activities of illegal goods.
