
Baripada: As an innovative initiative in social service and public health improvement, IDBI Bank Baripada branch under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign, has donated 11 stretchers and a battery operated vehicle to District Head Hospital (DHH), Baripada, which will assist in transporting patients to the MRI Centre, X-ray Department and provide medical services. This service program was organized today at DHH Baripada premises (Charitala Bhavan). The said public welfare service program was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Housing and Urban Development and Public Enterprises Department of Odisha Government Dr. Krishnachandra Mohapatra. Honorable MLA Sarasakana, Mr. Bhadav Hasada, former district president Mr. Kandra Soren and Mr. Hemkant Say Makar were present in the said program. Regional head of IDBI Bank Mr. Amitabh Vajpayee who came from Sudur Sambalpur participated in this CSR program and Seva himself represented Param Dharma. Baripada Branch Head Banshri Maharana and all the bank employees took active part in this great initiative and the minister expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the work of the bank saying that this initiative must set a new benchmark in the health care of the district.
