Kolabira 14.11 (Fast News Odisha): The distance between Jharsuguda and Kuchinda sub-district is about 550 km and within this distance, Kanshi ATM Nathuba Belle Kolabira Block is the only SBI ATM adjacent to the SBI Bank branch at Samasingha Yat and thousands of people rely on this ATM. These ATMs are closed during the middle of the month. It is alleged that people who come hoping to collect money often return disappointed. On the other hand, being the only state-owned bank in the area, the bank is always crowded. Since the said ATM has been lying down for a long time, people are facing non-existent problems. In this regard, after asking the branch clerk, the ATM machine is being moved from one place to another by mechanical means. Due to this, the ATM is not functioning properly, so there are problems with the ATM. In this regard, a senior officer has been appointed, he said. However, the ATM channel manager was contacted to know about the situation of the ATM, but he was not answering the phone. It is worth noting that 3 state-owned banks and one co-operative bank in Kolabira block area of Jharsuguda district do not have 24-hour ATM facility provided by Kannshi Bank. After the news was published in the Barsar media, an ATM was opened by the State Bank of India in the premises of the Khasaru Samasingha Bank branch, then an ATM was opened at Kolabira Kanakar Street, but after being operational for a few days, the situation is the same. 45 crore per annum at Samasingha State Sphat Bank branch, 12 crore per annum at Utkal Gramya Bank at Kolabira, 8 crore per annum at Jhallapali Utkal Gramya Bank branch and 4 crore per annum at Kolabira Co-operative Mini Bank. Bank customers have to go to Jharsuguda, which is 26 kilometers away or Kuchinda town, which is 30 kilometers away, to get ATM facilities. Therefore, in the interest of the users of Ujkal, the ATM should be replaced immediately by the State Bank branch and a new ATM machine should be provided and the ATM at the Kolabira block headquarters on the national highway should also be kept operational 24 hours a day.
