Premsagar Dhurua, Padmini Mundanilendra Kalo, Suryakarti Chand, Deepika Singh, Tapan Kalo, Rudra Pratap Singh, Tikswar Naik were prominent members of the tribal society. Birsamunda was a symbol of the tribals’ struggle for selfishness and self-identity. For this reason, he is worshiped and adored in the tribal society as God and Dhartiyaba. While Bhagwan Birsa Munda spent only 25 years in this movement, the great revolutionary Birsa Munda, claiming to be the most powerful tribal melee and mass movement hero in the history of India, commemorated the fact that Birsa Munda breathed his last in a cell in Ranchi Jail on June 1900. Nathule Birsa Munda is a worshiper whose goal is limited to forest and land rights only. His slogan was to end the British Raj and establish our own rule. Bisra will be remembered not only for the tribal interests of modern Jharkhand Odisha but also for the freedom of the entire country. After the meeting, a procession took place at the statue of Martyr Karunakar Singh at Karanakar Park. After garlanding the statue of Birsa Munda, after laying wreaths on the statue of Karunakar at Karunakar Street, he reached the village retreat office and presented a demand to His Excellency the President and the Chief Minister regarding the implementation of Pesa Act through group development candidates, recognition of Kolabira as a tribal block, recognition of the evicted Lakera legislative assembly and various tribal issues. The procession was accompanied by traditional tribal dances, songs and traditional weapons. Sameer Kumar Patel’s report from Kolabira (Fast News Odisha)
