Malkangari, 9/9/25: On behalf of the Government of Odisha, the Additional Secretary for Agriculture, Shanshanshu Mishra visited the agricultural program in Malkangiri district. In which he toured the small grain demonstration field and inaugurated the traditional small grain food fair organized by Shree Anna Yojana, District Agriculture Department Malkangari at MV7 High School and apprised the students of the school about its usefulness and quality of crops. He also informed about small grains and scientific methods of production and expansion of this business. District Chief Agriculture Officer, District Chief Horticulture Officer, District Coordinator and Regional Coordinator of Sri Anna Yojana, District Chief Engineer, Chief Scientist of Agricultural Science Center, other agricultural officers along with teachers of MV7 School and hundreds of students participated in this food fair. In this food fair, with the support of Gopbandhu Development Organization, the mothers of Ma Satsi Women Self Help Group prepared various types of delicious food in small grains such as Mandia mixed soup, Ladu, Arisa, Khakhara, Gaja, Khiri, etc. At the end of the programme, the Additional Secretary for Agriculture, Government of Odisha received the food prepared in Mishra Mandiya from Shree Anna and responded that the scheme was a success.
