
Malkangari, 8/9/25 : A joint public grievance hearing camp was held today at Manamkonda Gram Panchayat Office, Kalimela Block. District Magistrate Somesh Upadhyay and Security Inspector Vinod Patil H were present and heard the complaints of the public. A total of 77 complaints were heard today out of which 19 were individual complaints and 58 were collective complaints. Similarly, 12 cases of forest land, 12 cases of land acquisition, 3 cases of employment, one health card, 2 cases of drinking water, 2 cases of Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, 3 cases of Anganwadi, 6 cases of social security pension and 36 cases of roads and buildings were heard. During the hearing, online services were camped out for prompt resolution of issues related to ration card, labor card, Aadhaar card update, forest land lease, social security pension, farmer registration, housing scheme. In today’s camp, 44 people were registered for social security pension while 91 workers were given labor cards. 1,01,56,400 rupees has been given to 229 construction workers. 2 beneficiaries were registered for allotment of Pradhan Mantri Abhajan Yojana houses. Names of 8 beneficiaries have been newly registered for ration cards. Similarly, the names of 3 farmers have been registered. Aadhaar cards of five persons have been updated. Thanks to this innovative initiative of the District, many rural beneficiaries are benefiting from online services immediately. District Council Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Naresh Chandra Shabar, Bankhand Officer Sai Kiran, Deputy District Collector Ashni AL, among others, Kalimela Vidyo, Assistant District Collector Elections Ashok Chakraborty were present in today’s joint public grievance hearing camp.
