Hon’ble Lok Sabha MP Balbhadra Majhi joined the MP Sports Festival as the chief guest and formally inaugurated it! Honorable MPs and guests came in a procession from the Shiv Temple at Dahana to reach the meeting program! Honorable Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, District Magistrate Maheshwar Swayen, Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Vizhjit Burman, District Councilor Nandahandi (Zone-1) Arun Mishra, Samaj Sevi Kunj Bihari Das, MPs Somnath Pujari, Jyot Ranjan Kans, B. D. and Kshirod Chandra Sahu, MP sports official Rameshwar Jena, Sarpanch Dahana Kamala Pujari were present! District sports association editor Arjun Tripathi conducted the meeting! This MP game festival started on September 21 and will end on December 25! In 21 blocks of Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituency, 4935 people have registered their names to participate in the games till date! Sports like football, volleyball, cricket, long jump, high jump, running, kabaddi, khokho will be organized in this MP sports festival! Honorable MP said that a mini marathon will be held in Nabarangpur city on December 25th on this occasion! Honorable MP in his speech said that sports festival should help in identifying the hidden sports talents by giving importance to sports to stay physically and mentally healthy! Panchayat level, block level games will be completed within the next 20 December and those who will be successful will participate in various sports competitions held in Nabarangpur on December 21, 22 and 23! On December 25th, the MP game program will be organized at the district level and the contestants will be supported in which the Honorable Prime Minister will give a speech! On this occasion, the Hon’ble MP launched the 10 over limited overs game between Dahana and Mentri Grampanchayat cricket teams! In which the Dahana Gram Panchayat team won by 5 runs! District Sports Officer Sushant Kumar Naik, District Suchana and Public Relations Officer Manoj Kumar Behera, Divisional Officer, Nandahandi Block Staff, Sports Association Workers, Public Representatives, School Students, Mass Media Representatives, Dahana Villagers were present in this program!
