Malkangiri, 5/9/25: Under the direction of Malkangiri District Governor Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, a three-day district level tribal worker training program has been inaugurated under the chairmanship of Malkangiri ITDA Project Administrator Haldhar Shabar. In this training, block level officers of Education, Health, Rural Development, Women and Child Development, Panchayatiraj, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste Development Departments have been imparted district level training. In the said training, District Mars Officer A Srinivas Achari explained the aims and objectives of the programme. BDO Matheli, BDO Kalimela, BDO Malkangari, BEO Matheli, Executive Officer Rural Development, Deputy Ranger, Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Program Manager, Piramal Foundation, Assistant Executive Engineer, District Epidemiologist, Block Education Officer Matheli imparted residential training for three days as trainers. 31 people participated in the said training. Through Dharti or Janjajat Rural Excellence Campaign, a five-year, rural plan in 425 tribal-dominated villages will be launched from September 15 through village meetings in coordination with various departments, and it will be presented and approved at the district level on November 15 on Janjajat Glory Day. The program will run from 2024-25 to 2028-29 through the entire program. Odisha government’s goal of developed Odisha by 2036 and developed India by 2047 will be met. Adi Karma Yogi – All Government Employees, Adi Associates – All Volunteers, Youth Groups, and Adi Samathi – Self Help Group Workers are targeted to prepare village level plans. The said three-day training program was conducted by Vishwanath Mishra, Project Manager, ITDA.
