Jharsuguda, 28.11 (Fast News Odisha): The 44th annual sports festival was inaugurated in Jharsuguda Women’s College under the supervision of President Nandini Shetpathi on Wednesday. It took place in the open ground of the high school in Sarbahal. After various games were played in the courtyard of the college, there was a musical chair competition of lecturers, lecturers and assistant staff. In this, the head of the home science department, Mr. Jayashree Mishra won the first place, and the chairperson of the college, Nandini Shatpathi, got the second place and the head of the politics department, Mrs. Renuka Pujari, got the third place. And in the musical chair competition of the assistants, Babita Rana won the first place, Jugal Kishore Behera won the second place and Sabrathini Nayak won the third place. The program ended with the awarding of prizes to the students on the occasion of Friday Udjapani. Mrs. Kalyani Mishra, head of the Orody department, presided over the meeting. The members in charge of sports of the college Mr. Niroj Kumar Patel, Madan University, Darchuman Mitra, Reshma Ekka, Gakula Nand Sahu, P.E. T. Saroj Naik all managed all the functions on the occasion. At the end of the meeting, Neerut Rath, Lecturer of the Department of Orthodoxy, gave vote of thanks.
