Nuapada: Central government’s much-desired “Adi Karma Yogi campaign” for the all-round development of tribals is going to start very soon in Nuapada district. A command meeting was held in the headquarters conference room under the chairmanship of district governor Madhusudan Das. , all BDIs, all district level officials, voluntary institutional workers participated l Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a national movement for the creation of a decentralized tribal leadership and governance structure. Administered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, it aims to empower 20 lakh tribal activists in 1 lakh villages in 550 tribal-dominated districts of the country through capacity building, decentralization and community participation. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Evolved India Plan, it will empower tribal people through service, dedication and determination. Adi Karma Yogi Portal will act as the digital backbone of this mission and enable change at the grassroots level through registration, training, monitoring. It will promote outreach and effective service delivery to the last level l It will grow by emphasizing the voice of the tribal community l Adi Seva Center will be opened in every village and all government services will be provided close to home l The benefits of this campaign will be spread to 65191 tribal houses in 260 villages of 91 villages of Nuapada district l Addressing the meeting the District Governor said that all the government officials should be a blessing to the tribals left at the bottom of the society by their dedication. Go door to door and provide services to the tribals like housing, drinking water supply, irrigation scheme, education, health, camping, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and animal husbandry, electricity supply, sun house scheme etc. All tribal villages will be free of migrant workers.
