Baripada – Date :- 31/08/2025 Rikh The annual general meeting of Bhanjpur Jagdhatri Puja and Mela Committee has been held at Durga Mandap in Bhanjpur locality. The meeting was chaired by senior member Vysendra Prasad Das and hundreds of members including ex-minister Sudham Marandi, former deputy speaker Sanand Marandi, and Shri Narayan Pal were present. Stakkal presented it and it was unanimously accepted. New staff members were unanimously elected for the smooth conduct of the 31st fair to be held on the occasion of the 73rd Pooja of Mother I Pooja Committee Chairman Ex-Minister Sudham Marandi, Fair Committee Chairman Ex-Vice Speaker Sanand Marandi, Acting President Mayor Krishna Inand Mohanty, Pooja Vice President Vysendra Prasad Das, Fair Vice President King Keshari Jena, Chief General Officer Editor Miral Narayan Pal, Pooja General Editor Rasikanand Mishra, Mela General Editor Prashanjit Mohanty, Pooja Editor Pramod Mohanty, Mela Editor Rajat Sahu, Cultural Editor Kishore Paley and Co-Editors Abinash Rath and Satyabrat Dhal, Stall Editor Sapan Panda, Office Editor Duryoti Das, Treasurer Subrata Das and Media Coordinator. Somnath Singh has been unanimously selected as the chief. The puja will begin on October 30 and the fair will be held on this occasion from November 3 to 14, media coordinator Shri Singh said.
