
Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 210.8.2025 Rikh: Hon’ble MLA Nabarangpur Gauri Shankar Majhi and District Mayor Dr. Maheshwar Swaymen, all the members of the Indravati Tourism Area Committee visited the proposed multi-purpose tourism site of Indravati Reservoir and adjacent areas! It is worth noting that Hon’ble Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, who attended the Independence Day as the chief guest, visited the area and ordered the district administration to prepare DPR soon to make it a national level tourism area! Preparations have been started for the construction of a tourist site at a cost of Rs. 100 crores near the Deo Pali main dam in Tentilikhunti block. There will be a park on the side of the reservoir, a temple and mini park in the island, ropeway, restaurant, cafe, tree planting, electricity system, toilets, roads, accommodation for tourists. Designed to streamline arrangements, gyms, and other fun activities! For this, DPR will be prepared and sent to the state government for approval! Building a national level tourism sector will create many business opportunities in the Indravati region and contribute to self-employment and economic growth!
