Baripada, Dec 5 A preparatory meeting for the upcoming book fair was held at the Maharshi Public School auditorium in Baripada under the auspices of the Mayurbhanj Book Fair Committee. The meeting, presided over by Padmanabha Sahu, discussed various arrangements for the upcoming fair, with General Secretary Er. Manoj Kumar Dalabehera elaborating on the organizational plans. The Mayurbhanj Book Fair will include various competitions for participating students as well as cultural and literary programs. The fair will commence on the auspicious occasion of Netaji Jayanti, January 23, and will continue for 10 days until February 1. On this occasion, a fair organizing committee was formed. Treasurer Kaibalya Prasad Mahapatra presented the estimated budget for conducting the event. Among those who actively took part in the discussions were Prof. Sandeep Kumar Chand, Ajay Kumar Pal, Deepak Kumar Dandapat, Pradeep Kumar Bhuyan, Gopal Chandra Sao, Lecturer Samarendra Kumar Basha, Ms. Kaveri Mishra, Lecturer Swaroopananda Bisayi, Bisheshwar Dwivedi, Lecturer Gayatri De, Bhaswati Panda, Prof. Shrinibas Bhanja, Ashok Kumar Kar, Sushmita Ghoshal, Dr. Saroj Kumar Nayak, and Jagannath Sahu. Senior member Basantilata Mahapatra and member Shiulal Mahant conducted the proceedings. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Shashidhar Biswal.
