
Baripada, Date: 9/12 It has been learned that today, the intellectual community of Mayurbhanj and Baripada submitted a memorandum to the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, demanding comprehensive development of all regions of Mayurbhanj. According to the memorandum, various media reports suggest that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has decided to inaugurate four world-class institutions in Rairangpur. Mayurbhanj is Odisha’s largest tribal-dominated district and consists of four subdivisions. As it was formerly a princely state, noticeable diversity exists among the inhabitants of its different subdivisions. To ensure balanced and overall development across all regions of Mayurbhanj, the memorandum demands that two of the four major projects proposed in Rairangpur be set up in Rairangpur itself, while one project should be established in Karanjia and another in Udala. Additionally, a separate development project has been demanded for the Baripada subdivision. During the submission of the memorandum, the following persons were present: Sarat Chandra Nayak, Founder President of Odia Jagaran Manch Advocate Aravind Das Mrutyunjay Dwivedi Purna Chandra Jena Rajendra Mohant Pitambar Mallik Nandalal Singh and others.
