
A workshop related to “Odisha Collection Priority Policy – 2023” has been held in Nuapada under the chairmanship of District Collector Madhusudan Das and at District Industrial Center Anukuliya in District Collector’s conference room. The workshop was organized to provide special priority and facilities to micro and small manufacturing industries in the government procurement process. The District Governor said that this policy will play an important role in increasing local production, entrepreneurship and employment in the district. District Industries Center Manager, Samir Muduli informed that the main objective is to provide necessary facilities to the manufacturing industries on priority basis by the government departments and their related institutions and organizations. According to this policy, manufacturing enterprises in Odisha with their own production and maximum capital investment of up to Rs. In addition, new ventures operating in the manufacturing sector in the state and registered with Start-up Odisha (a government company under the MSME department) will also be counted under the OSME category. To enjoy the benefits of this policy, any manufacturing industry will need to have a valid Enterprise Registration Udyam Registration Number (URN) and submit an affidavit at the time of bidding.
