
Baripada 10/01 (Fast News Odisha) As Mayurbhanj is the cradle of art culture, programs are held by various cultural institutions in Baripada Martyr Memorial Hall. But the organizers are facing a lot of difficulties in the performance of the program due to the lack of modern light and sound system in the Martyr’s Memorial Building. It is especially expensive to stage a play. Many theater institutions want to organize state and national level drama festivals but cannot do so due to lack of lighting and sound system. Therefore, in order to renovate the Martyrs Memorial Building with the latest light and sound system, under the leadership of Baripada artist family president Prasat Mohanty, editor Wisyan Ranjan Panda, along with Prasanna Kumar Mohanty, Ananda Shankar Das, Dr. Kumarmani Naik, Rajiv Kumar Pan, Dr. Gokul Chandra Das, Somnath Singh Major Sub-Districtor, Baripada Dr. Sindhu Parida and District Magistrate Hemkant Say have given a demand letter. The District Magistrate has promised to take appropriate steps to solve this problem.
